My Skin Type

A good lip treatment can go a long way! I’ve tried several over the years, but my new favorite is from Ole Henriksen.

As we age, we all experience loss of lip volume and, of course, more lip lines. This treatment has lip-specific peptides to help your lips look more defined, smoother, and fuller. It also has nourishing ingredients to soothe, condition, and provide intense moisture to visibly soften your lips.
I love the sheen, how comfortable it feels, and how soothed my lips feel when I wear it. It also keeps my lips from becoming dry and chapped. I don’t typically like sticky lip products. I’d say there is some grip to it, but it’s not too sticky for me.
I have strawberry sorbet which has a lovely natural strawberry scent. I apply this during the day, after my Ziip lip treatment, and before bed. It also has magnesium and peptides to support skin restoration. Ectoin is another ingredient in this moisturizer, which isn’t seen very often in skincare. Ectoin is a naturally occurring amino acid derivative that protects and rejuvenates skin cells and is amazing for strengthening your skin barrier.
I used up my entire tub of overnight rescue and will repurchase. It’s extremely effective yet not heavy or greasy. But most of all, it keeps my skin deeply hydrated.
Drunk Elephant Bora Barrier Repair Cream
As a longtime fan of Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream, trying their skin barrier repair cream was a no brainer.
Bora Barrier Repair Cream from Drunk Elephant is a thicker cream than the Biossance cream. It’s designed to protect the moisture level of your skin and support the skin barrier. It has zinc and copper gluconates, which are salt water minerals that have anti-redness benefits and antioxidant properties. The cream also has a six butter lipid complex and alpha glucan to soothe, hydrate, and help with natural ceramide and hyaluronic acid production.

Pacifica Future Youth Facial Massage Roller
I was so impressed after trying this facial massage roller from Pacifica. It was simple, inexpensive, and effective.
It’s made from zinc alloy, making it nice and sturdy. I love that the tips swifel easily on their own, making it easy to use without any serum on your skin. Sometimes I want to use a tool on clean, dry skin (to save time) and this allows me to do that. It stays cool which is great for mornings when I need a bit of depuffing too.
