After reuniting for the UK’s biggest arena tour of 2024, British pop sensations Girls Aloud have this week announced the release of The Girls Aloud Show – a brand new concert film recorded at London’s O2 Arena!
Available on both Blu-ray, and a special deluxe box set package via Mercury Studios, the high octane, nostalgia-filled tour saw the much loved girl group celebrate a decades worth of chart-topping hits – including smash hits ‘The Promise’, ‘Love Machine’, ‘Biology’, ‘Jump’, ‘Something Kinda Ooooh’, ‘Sound of the Underground’ and many, many more – as they performed to 300,000 people across 30 mesmerising shows, all in celebration of their late bandmate Sarah Harding.
The deluxe edition includes the Blu-ray, a DVD and 2CDs of the show, all packaged in a stunning 12”x12” 62-page rainbow foil hardback photobook and slipcase. The photobook features exclusive photos from the show, alongside extensive new sleeve notes about the tour.
The DVD and Blu-ray also includes bonus footage of the specially filmed visuals from the on-stage screens, alongside the official video for “I’ll Stand By You (Sarah’s Version)” and the 38-minute long The Whole Damn Show Megamix.
The concert will also be released as a stand-alone Blu-ray edition, along with digital audio and video versions.
The Blu-ray and special deluxe box set are scheduled to be released Friday, June 13th 2025.
